Prompt Set

The declared, fixed list of questions run against each AI engine to produce a citation score. Kept stable across measurement runs so a later delta reflects the market, not a different question.

Definition

A prompt set is the declared, specific list of questions run against each AI engine to produce a citation measurement. A trustworthy score always discloses which prompt set produced it, not just the headline number.

Changing the prompt set between measurement runs breaks the ability to measure a real change over time. A fixed prompt set re-run on a cadence, monthly is a common default, is what turns a single-run snapshot into a trend.
